Author Phillis T. Forrest has been a passionate advocate for the prevention of Child Sexual Abuse for over two decades. Shining a light on her own personal experiences, Phillis has written books to help bring awareness to a worldwide issue. Through A Child’s Eyes (2012) and DEVIANT: Secrets of a Predator (2015) are both gripping, true-to-life stories of Phillis’ own experience as a survivor, as well as a guide for mothers on how to protect their children from sexual predators.

Phillis is a native of Detroit, MI, a mother of two, a grandmother of three, and ambitious leader within her community. With her powerful writing style and inspiring stories, she brings a unique perspective to her work. Phillis' books are a celebration of the resilience and strength of the Detroit Community, single mothers, and anyone with a story to tell. Phillis' hopes that her work will inspire others.
